keDezember helps you track your festive activities and see how your friends are doing on the leaderboard. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it.
2. Data we collect
Account info
Name, email, and profile photo you provide when signing in (e.g., via Google or Apple).
Usage data
Beer counts, outings, streaks, and any notes you log in the app.
Device data
Basic device info, app version, and crash logs to keep things running smoothly.
Optional data
Photos you upload or share, plus leaderboard display preferences.
3. How we use your data
- Operate and improve the app, including syncing entries across devices.
- Run the leaderboard so you and your friends can compare stats.
- Detect and prevent abuse or misuse of the service.
- Send important service updates (we keep marketing messages rare and relevant).
4. When we share data
- Service providers: hosting, analytics, and infrastructure (e.g., Firebase).
- With your consent: when you choose to share entries or profile info.
- Legal reasons: if required to comply with law or protect rights and safety.
5. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove data, we delete or anonymize it unless we must keep it for legal or safety reasons.
6. Your choices
- Access & update: adjust your profile info in the app.
- Delete data: contact us to remove your account and related data.
- Sharing: control what shows on the leaderboard by editing your profile and entries.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring). No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your device safe.
8. Children
keDezember is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the legal drinking age in their region.
9. Changes to this policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised policy.
